These are skills and tools that today’s kids need and are particularly useful for kids experiencing everything from extreme trauma, to the average kid who now spends the majority of their free time playing video games or scrolling through social media. Theatre also creates a safe and fun environment for self expression and learning about different cultures and ideas. At RCT, we take every opportunity to engage kids where they’re at and make connections for them in the real world. Theatre allows children to grow into themselves by empowering them in their self expression and to be who they are!

The work of Rose Children’s Theatre would not be possible without the generous support of our donors and sponsors. As a non-profit organization, donations help support all aspects of our organization including funding our need based scholarships, rental of our rehearsal space and performance venue, as well as helping us to be more sustainable with a warehouse for our reusable sets, props and costume treasures. In addition, every year we bring upwards of 700 area school children to attend a matinee performance of one of our shows. Some of these students are seeing live theatre for the first time ever.
